Our historical Stage Stop Bait and Tackle Shop was built in 1910 and was one of the original stageline stops on the gold and copper mining routes from Phoenix, to Prescott, Arizona. Freight wagons and stage coach's used this old west stop until 1916. It was one of the longest running stagelines in the history of Arizona.
Stage Stop Bait and Tackle is conveniently located at River's Edge R.V. Park just about 100 yards from the where the Agua Fria and Black Canyon River's meet at the base of the Bradshaw Mountains. Gold Prospecting, Panning, and fishing has never been more convenient than it is from Stage Stop Bait and Tackle! And, the Shop is well equipped with just about anything you need such as, fishing rods and reels, tackle ammunition, hunting and shooting supplies including CO2 refills for paint ball shooting, R.V. supplies, camping supplies, ice cream, soda, hunting and fishing Licenses, We even carry LIVE BAIT!
